My name is Linnéa Ädel, and this is my (photography) blog. I share my name with the flower linnaea borealis, or Twinflower. I’m in my early twenties, I have a degree in Swedish and English, and I’m currently studying literature. My plan is to eventually become a teacher. I’m a feminist, some sort of linguist, knitter, hobby photographer and chocolate eater.
I’ve been interested in photography since I was 14, when my parents gave me a simple point and shoot for a school trip to Spain. I first learnt the basics of analog photography, film and dark room when I was 16 and took a photography class in school. This was back in 2007, and I didn’t get my first proper camera until Christmas 2012, a second-hand Olympus E-450. It may not be the most advanced camera, but I’m absolutely enamoured with it.
I’m Swedish. I don’t use shampoo. I like DIY. I try to practise radical self-love. I’ve been called a hippie, but my hair is way too short for that.
I like to use internet slang and swear words. I love parenthesis, and parenthesis within parenthesis. Just deal with it.
